Sydnee made it though her first Christmas in Germany. It was nice to Skype with her on Christmas and hear first-hand how she is doing and the experiences she is having. On Christmas Eve, she said that by 11am the town was completly bare of people. Most of them were indoors starting to celebrate with family already. Sydnee and her companion Sister Griffen spent Christmas with the bishops family and had dinner. The pictures on this post are of their “sight-seeing” activities that the mission president approved since no one was around to meet with. In Germany, Christmas is a 3 day celebration concluding on the day after with Boxing Day. In one of the pictures you will see Moses. He is a refugee from Nigeria. He is set to be baptized on the 30th (no jinxing). Sydnee is doing well and we are all proud of the example she is to all of us.
