Last Week with Sister Hunter

This is Sydnees last week with Sister Hunter as she is going home at the end of this transfer.  Transfer calls are on Saturday and then all the missionaries move at the first of the week.  But before Sister Hunter leaves to head home and back to BYU, her and Sydnee will have 2 baptisms on Saturday.  What a great way to finish out 18 months of service to the Lord.  This glimmer of success also couldn’t come at a better time for Sydnee either.  The last 2 weeks have been difficult in terms of the work.  They continue to have some issues with the ward members getting behind the missionary effort to the extend that Sydnee and Sister Hunter feel that they should.  In talking to Sydnee this last week, she feels that she may be in Mannheim another transfer or two so she will have to embrace the challenge and push through like she knows how.  Sounds like just a normal day of being a missionary.  It’s not all roses and unicorns, let’s be honest.  Here are two pictures she sent from this last week.  If nothing else, you can tell that she continues to be having fun.  The picture below may seem to be a quintessential view of an old German women, but Sydnee said she is such a sweet old lady (as witnessed by Sydnee holding the dog lol)
